Dr. Martin ERNST

is self-employed, and works as a graduated geologist, lecturer and is a free academic member of the study community "Wort und Wissen" (Word and Knowledge) Furthermore he works as a management consultant.

Born in 1958, married, 3 children. Living in the south west of Germany in 79199 Kirchzarten, which is near Freiburg.

He studied Geology / Palaeontology at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. Martin Ernst is a graduated geologist, including the doctor title.

Filed of activities are:

  • demonstrative academic teachings including excursions, lectures / seminars, all concerning about general and historical Geology as well as Palaeontology
  • Geological reconnaissances: The analysis of subsoil, brownfields and geological mapping
  • Geotechnical assays of rocks: Natural stones and building materials
  • Academically assays of rocks: Creation of sedimentary rocks in Central Europe - stratigraphy and analysis of facies

The lectures and excursions are suited for inviting interested people, even if previous knowledge is lacking.
