From the Black Forest to the Markgraeflerland
We experience an exciting history how the Upper Rhinerift sunk down and the soils of the Markgraeferland showed up. There also will be an opportunity to collect fossils! A descriptive handout for the excursion will be given.
By public transportation or cars we will arrive at the Markgraeflerland. We will hike by foot and explore the locate geology. The excursion is made for everyone - for laymen as well - The explanations are generally comprehensible, so no precognition is needed.
Equipment: Clothes well adapted for the weather, rucksack and hammer(for the minerals). You will get all needed information about the excursion after having singed up. When the excursion is over, there will be an opportunity for winetasting in a local homey eating place.
