The Valais - God's creation in Switzerland
explore plants, animals, stones, ice and mountains

In the Swiss Valais we will experience its beautiful varieties: Colourful flower meadows, majestic mountain tops, glaciers and their vestiges of erosions, minerals(e.g. mountain crystals) and with a little bit luck we will see woodchucks, eagles and foxes.

We will discuss the question: How did the Alps come into existence? What kind of forces - formed (-or are forming) our earth? We will visit areas of glaciers and learn about different rocks and their process of formation. Furthermore we will explore Zermatt, were we can find former sea beds, which were moved by enormous processes. We will see impressive processes of erosions caused by landslide.
Besides the scientifically explorations we also want to try to understand the biblical time-frame and to understand God's creation as fare as Geology is concerned.
